Blogging is so exausting...LOL just when I think I'm keeping up it's 4 months later ..wow
I love catching up with all of my families blogs I have great sister in laws that keep things posted..cuz it's a definate for sure my bros would not do all this wonderful blog stuff..NO WAY! so kudos to the SIL's! shouts to SADIE! HEATHER! TALIA! MARIANNA! and EMILY! ...you gals have some great husbands! and a really cool sister in law..who thinks all of you are the GREATEST!
Here in Illinois, as of today Wed January 28th, are.....
SNOWY!...it dropped about a foot of snow on us last night....by the looks of it, this morning I had to take the kids to school, I kept watching the "ticker tape" on the morning news to see if it would say that their school was closed..and it kept adding other local schools..one by one, but not theirs! AHHHH, I was so hoping they wouldn't have to go, cuz then I wouldn't have to get out in the SNOW! and drive them and...since I have the day off, we could have spent the day doing something FUN! like going HEAD TO HEAD on Guitar Hero world Tour on XBOX...now that would be fun! lol..but they had to go to school...Brianne was eager to go to school because today they have a JV game against Charlston and she was like "I hope they don't cancel school tomorrow cuz we have a JV game", I was like you are the only person I know who hopes they don't cancel scool tomorrow, every other kid is home praying for snow right now...she said.."well I really wanna play against Charlston tomorrow that will be a good game"... well Brianne you got your wish ..sorta...cuz your school wasn't canceled. Unfortunately, Charlston school was canceled...so that means no game, sorry kid careful how ya word those wishes!! :)
We are feeling the pinch here in Decatur from the economy...Catipiller where my hubby works is laying off AGAIN...so Friday 500 more people will get laid off...we are hoping to not be one of them.
I'm still working at Wal-mart just finished up with the Christmas holiday in my dept. and am working on Valentine's! I personally like Valentine's out of all the holidays I do..cuz it's so simple! and it's so last minute..I get everything out and set up and keep it looking nice til like February 13th..then all heck breaks loose and everyone and their mother is out shopping frantically for valentines and I come back to work the morning after and clean up the aftermath. I am also starting to see my lawn and garden stuff coming in...I am kind of eager for spring to get here and all the pretty flowers to come in it's so dreary on my patio area at work right now but when it's lawn and garden season it's so pretty, but it seems so weird that we are planning for spring already with all this snow on the ground. My life has become seasons now since I've been the Dept. Manager over the Lawn and Garden area...it goes by tooooo fast.
Trey and I are doing good, we have a lot to do! I just got a calling as the activities night leader in the ward and the ward keeps Trey busy too! This weekend they are going to move a lady and next week sometime they are taking a temple trip to the St. Louis temple. This will be Trey's first temple trip. Also he got his recommend for the Melchezdek priesthood so that's cool too.
Ok well I better get something done with my day besides blogging!...bye for now!
